Terms of Service
These terms explain what Screwge does, the limits of what it does, and the responsibilities that stay with you. The most important point: Screwge is decision-support software — you remain responsible for your approvals and payments.
1. Service description
Screwge provides software for managing subcontractor work records, supporting documentation, compliance workflows, and payment readiness. Screwge helps organizations capture field evidence, structure it, track compliance, and apply their configured review and approval steps.
2. AI outputs are decision-support only
Screwge may generate automated analyses, estimates, recommendations, classifications, or summaries using artificial intelligence. These outputs are decision-support tools. They do not constitute engineering certification, legal advice, financial advice, or independent verification of work. A confidence score, a "payment ready" indicator, or any AI recommendation is an aid to your judgement, not a guarantee. Customers remain responsible for final approvals and payment decisions.
3. Payments — Screwge does not move money
Marking a payment as approved, ready, or recorded inside Screwge does not move money and does not create any obligation on Screwge to move money.
4. Your responsibilities
By using Screwge, you agree to:
- Upload accurate information and evidence.
- Have the authorization to upload worker and subcontractor information that you submit.
- Keep your account credentials secure.
- Make your own project, compliance, and final payment decisions.
- Maintain any legally required original records outside Screwge.
5. Customer data ownership
You own the data and content you upload to Screwge. You grant Screwge the rights needed to host, process, and display that data to provide the service — including processing it with AI as described in our Privacy Policy. Screwge does not sell your data.
6. Intellectual property
Screwge and its software, design, and content are owned by Screwge and its operators. These terms do not transfer any Screwge intellectual property to you beyond the right to use the service.
7. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's confidential information and use it only to provide or use the service.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Screwge to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload data you are not authorized to share, attempt to breach security or access other organizations' data, or interfere with the service.
9. Termination and suspension
You may stop using Screwge at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the service or its users. On termination, data handling follows our Privacy Policy retention rules.
10. Warranties and liability
Screwge is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Screwge is not liable for your business, project, compliance, or payment decisions, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable Indian law will handle disputes unless a signed customer agreement states another lawful dispute-resolution process.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and law evolve, and we will change the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a material change means you accept the updated terms.
