Account help
I forgot my password
On the login screen, choose Forgot password and enter the email you signed up with. You will receive a reset link. If it does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then email us.
I did not get my invite
Project invites are sent to the exact email address your contractor entered. If it has not arrived, ask them to confirm the spelling and resend it, then check your spam folder. Invites also appear inside the app under your alerts once you are signed in with that address.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app:
- Mobile app: Profile → Delete account.
- Web app: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account.
Deleting your account removes your login and your personal details. Because construction records are the contractor's statutory books, records of work that was completed, certified, or paid are kept in an anonymised form — they are no longer linked to you as an identifiable person. This is explained in full in the Privacy Policy.
If you cannot reach the screen for any reason, email contactscrewge@gmail.com from your registered address and we will action it for you.
Using Screwge
My photos or voice notes will not upload
Uploads need a working connection and permission to use your camera, photo library, or microphone. Check those permissions in your device settings, then retry. Each file can be up to 50 MB, and up to 15 files can be attached at once. If a large video keeps failing, try uploading it on Wi-Fi.
My work was rejected or sent back
When a contractor asks for more evidence or rejects an update, they must give a reason, which appears on the assignment. Add the evidence they asked for and submit again — it returns to their review queue automatically.
A payment is showing as blocked
A bill is blocked when a required check has not cleared — commonly a missing or expired compliance document, an unresolved change order, uncertified measurements, or missing approved evidence. Open the bill to see the exact checklist and which item is outstanding. Screwge records payments and produces the audit trail; Screwge does not move money.
A compliance document keeps showing as missing
Documents are matched to the specific document type the contractor requested. If you uploaded something and it still shows as outstanding, check that it was uploaded against the right requirement, and that it has not expired.
